1980

With the vision of quality lubricants that meet requirements and personal customer advice, the company Lubricant Consult GmbH, with the brand name , was founded in August 1980. The company has continued to develop since then. However, our quality requirements and the close relationships with our customers and partners remain the focus.

1980

International expansion begins in 1985 with the establishment of LUBCON Lubricant Consult AG (subsidiary in Switzerland). Further international markets will be approached successfully in the years to come. First relationships with business partners in Asia, Turkey and the United States of America are established. Modern manufacturing plants in Poland and USA are established and further subsidiaries in Europe are founded in the 90’s.

1990

In the 90s, modern production facilities Locations were opened in Poland and the USA, and further subsidiaries were founded in Southern and Eastern Europe (Italy, Slovenia, Poland, Czech Republic).

1995

To expand the product portfolio to include lubrication technology, LUBCON Service + Systems GmbH is founded in Germany.

1999

The headquarters in Germany is expanding. The move provides additional space for administration, production, laboratories and test fields.

2000 – 2005

In the 2000s, subsidiaries opened in France and Great Britain.

2005

The company founder Jürgen Engelke dies at the age of 66. His wife Hedy Engelke and his son Heiko Engelke take over the management.

2012

LUBCON's ongoing activities, especially in the Asian markets, are represented by branches in the Philippines and Malaysia.

Another production facility is being built in the Philippines. LUBCON is now around the globe through its own companies and distributors

2014 – 2019

The global expansion course will continue with branches in the Middle East, Indonesia, South Africa, Mexico and our own bottling facility in India.

2024

LUBCON becomes part of the FUCHS Group. In order to continue our successful path and strengthen our presence on the global markets, the Engelke family has decided to sell the LUBCON Group to the FUCHS Group. The FUCHS Group, an independent and listed lubricant manufacturer managed by the third generation of the Fuchs family, is represented in all global markets. This presence and its extensive product range make it the ideal partner for us.
